Professional expectations include the following:
-Licensure is current, and ongoing requirements kept up to date-Excellent verbal communication skills between other staff and patients-Thorough, detailed, accurate charting, and written documentation abilities-Correct use of dental terminology and nomenclature-Demonstrates the highest level of competency in proper disinfection/ sterilization/ cross contamination prevention, and understands the logic behind protocols-Utilizes their licensure, experience, and scope of practice to assist patients at the highest level in appointments-Knowledge of Patterson Eaglesoft software is a plus-Ability to view the daily schedule critically to determine how to make the day run as smoothly as possible, and identify scheduling conflicts before they arise-Maintains HIPAA compliance at all times-Ability to take diagnostic x rays, and identifying when retakes are needed before providers request retakes-Experienced in 3D intraoral scanning, Pano x rays, and CT scans on a Pano machine-Has excellent communication skills when informing the front office of procedures completed during an appointment Recommended Skills Communication Environmental Protection Front Office X Ray Computed Tomography Sterilization Radiology Apply to this job.
