Responsibilities Assists with patient/resident transfers and arrivals to the facility, scheduling and ensuring a positive experience for all involved, follows up on referrals, verifies insurances and other required authorizations and general office duties Reviews referrals, assisting with patients/guardians/advocates interviews to secure all necessary information and paperwork as needed for admitting to the facility Answers phones, inquiries and questions regarding the admissions process Ensures that rooms are ready for incoming patients/residents Welcomes new patients- ensuring a positive experience for all involved Maintains an accurate count of available beds, updated list of all residents and their assigned rooms, reporting and providing copies as needed to requesting agencies and authorized personnel in accordance with all privacy regulations and policies Reviews, updates, provides and explains admission information packets (resident rights, notice of privacy practices, admissions contract, etc.
).
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
